Lorain County Habitat for Humanity ReStore
is open to the public!
The ReStore provides the public with outstanding bargains on gently used and sometimes new building and home items and materials. The ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat's community improvement work.
The ReStore accepts donations of most household, renovation and home improvement items. Arrangements can be made for PICK-UP of larger items.

What do we have?
We always have a wide assortment of gently used and sometimes new building materials, tools, and household items. Amazing bargains are sold quickly and incredible new items arrive daily. Tax-Deductible Donations!
ALL DONATIONS MUST BE IN DECENT CONDITION AND BE ABLE TO RESELL!! Please consider if you would be willing to purchase something in that condition. Donations can be given to us whenever the ReStore is open - Simply stop by the store and we will be happy to help you unload the items and provide tax-deduction receipts. Arrangements can be made for ReStore staff to pick-up the items at your location - just call us or, better yet, stop by to coordinate this service.

Restore is always looking for volunteers to help! We always have opportunities for everyone - no specialized skills or extensive time commitments needed! If you have the time and the desire to support a worthy cause with a great group of folks, please give us a call or, even better, stop by and visit us to see and chat! We are also in need of volunteers with the ability to do minor repairs on furniture and other items donated to us, getting it ready for sale. Please call us and share the Habitat experience with us!
When you shop at ReStore, the benefits are endless:
- You help the environment by decreasing the amount of refuse going into the landfill.
- You receive a tax receipt for the donated items and materials.
- You help local do-it-yourselfers by allowing them to purchase much needed items at a lower price for their projects.
- We work hand-in-hand with organizations to supply needed household necessities. Your donated items always find a good home.
Please help us and help others:
- Ask individuals, companies and people that you know to donate fixtures, windows, doors, lumber, tile, sinks, furniture, working power tools and appliances.
- Clean out your basement, storage areas and warehouses.
- Contact our office before demolitions of homes or businesses, so that we may salvage items that may be salvaged and recycled.
- Organize a tool drive at your job for a community service project.
- Become a corporate sponsor.
